Because Maya's first birthday is in 2 days, I have spent the last few weeks pulling together photos for her one year book. It is amazing to see the change and growth over the last year which flew by at times and at other times seemed to stand still. As all new parents, we have spent the last year trying to see traces of ourselves in Maya and at the same time, so appreciate the person she is apart from us. In adding a few pics of her parents to the book, I couldn't help but share some of the recent similarities of Maya's looks now and us as one year old. If there has ever been any doubts about Maya's paternity, look no further, she is truly her daddy's girl. That was John as a little one above and Maya just below the image (feel free to click on the photos and they will enlarge to see for yourself the uncanny resemblance). Although there is no doubt that Maya is a Proulx, here are a few pics of Anna around one and Maya. Family resemblance for sure...
